You might've heard these lines as they're from the Disney movie "Tangled". As you might know, it's practically my all time favourite and I watched it again today (and cried just a little bit because, you know, Flynn Rider). And it just fit perfectly in my thoughts from this week. I wondered about what I actually look for in a relationship and if there really need to be any requirements at all. And what it would feel like.

To answer the second question: There need to be barely any. I realized that it is not important for me if the person has a different taste in music than I do or if they don't adore English as much as I do. Yes, all these things are cool to share but what's rather important in my opinion is to feel a deeper bond, a deeper understanding of each other.

I think that is kind of what I've been looking for the whole time. Not someone who just likes me because I'm pretty or whatever, but someone I can talk to about things. Things like the ones I post on here. 

If you think about Rapunzel and Flynn Rider (aka Eugene): They both didn't even like each other at first, nor was Flynn ever attracted to her appearance right away. No, their love began to grew when they started talking about themselves with the other person and realized "Hey there's someone out there who just understands me" and I think it's one of the greatest gifts to ever exist.

All my favourite people are people that understand me to the core and I do the same way. My favourite people may not like my taste in music but they still are equally excited with me when Taylor Swift released a new song. My favourite kind of people maybe don't dig English as much as I do but they understand my love for it and we push each other to new limits with our different passions.

So will I ever find someone like Flynn Rider? I really hope so. But then it'll be my own Flynn Rider. And maybe then, we're going to find a life of our own together.
